Each painting in this collection depicts one of British Columbia’s most iconic animals of the land, sea or sky in lustrous gold, rose gold or silver leafing. Painterly brushstrokes also convey the animal’s movement through their natural habitat and create a sense of harmony. As humans, we are reminded of our duty to protect these precious animals and their surroundings.

The silver grizzly bear here walks stoically and silently through his forest home. Misty fog rolls in between the layers of dense forest around him shrouding him in secrecy.
