Each painting in this collection depicts one of British Columbia’s most iconic animals of the land, sea or sky in lustrous gold, rose gold or silver leafing. Painterly brushstrokes also convey the animal’s movement through their natural habitat and create a sense of harmony. As humans, we are reminded of our duty to protect these precious animals and their surroundings.

Glistening in gold, the bald eagle soars above the majestic mountains that our province is so well known for. Eagles are symbolic for loyalty, courage and strength. They remind us to never back down from a challenge and to soar to great heights.
